Turkish games developer Masomo (acquired by Miniclip in 2019) partnered with Pixly for a custom influencer campaign for their latest mobile title, Basketball Arena. Pixly’s influencer activations boosted Basketball Arena up to #2 in the US Games App Store charts.
In collaboration with Masomo we identified the target audience and most relevant YouTube content categories for Basketball Arena activations. Using these insights, Pixly sourced highly relevant content creators using our internal matchmaking tools and historical performance metrics. Our streamlined process made it easy and efficient for the Masomo team to quickly review and approve influencers for the campaign.
Each influencer spent anywhere from 60 to 120 seconds talking about Basketball Arena and showcasing highlights of their adrenaline-pumping gameplay during their YouTube video integrations. From March 4th through March 8th we released 24 unique YouTube influencer activations and successfully boosted Basketball Arena into the #2 ranking in the US Games App Stores charts. This campaign included popular content creators such as Dude Perfect, Hacksmith, FaZe Rug, Jesser, Ben Azelart, and more.
